About
Bio
Through converging traditional portraiture and unique narratives, a majority of Garrett’s work stems from the desire to educate and broaden public perceptions. He first picked up his dad’s old film camera nearly ten years ago and have since been driven to document the world around him with integral candidness and thoughtful intentionality.
Garrett spent three years living in England, where he worked with an international missions organization developing local projects and overseeing group exhibitions. During that time, he traveled to over a dozen countries from the coast of Albania to The Alps in Germany. This is where he developed his passion for sharing stories through photographic imagery.
Now, a recent Journalism graduate at CSULB with emphasis on multimedia storytelling and photojournalism, Garrett continues to pursue personal projects focusing on issues like mental health.
